The Antec Torque is a unique case with a futuristic, clear, angular design. The open build style and the 4 mm thick tempered glass panels help to not only make the case a looker, it also happens to offer excellent airflow while being ideally suited for water cooling. The motherboard mounts are angled at 45 degrees, helping to make the Torque remarkably efficient in terms of space: Graphics cards with a length of up to 45 cm and CPU coolers up to 215 mm tall will both fit without issue in the aluminium enclosure.
The Features of the Antec Torque Midi-Tower at a Glance:
Advanced Design with Tempered Glass Panels
The Antec Torque draws its futuristic aesthetics from games and space ships of Sci-Fi film legend. The build of the case utilises an open-style design that allows motherboards to be angled at 45 degrees, meaning there is greater space for powerful cooling equipment and excellent airflow. The 4-mm-thick tempered glass side window and the open back mean that, from every angle, the case allows for a blend of unconventional looks as well as direct access to the hardware users install.
Air- and Water Cooling Options in the Antec Torque
Quality cooling is of course a must when it comes to building powerful gaming systems, and this is why the Antec Torque has been made from the ground up to cater for said hardware with a range of cooling options. Antec's designer case offers space for six 120 mm fans in the front and roof. Alternatively, two radiators up to 360 mm can be installed. Dust filters are not necessary given the overall design of the case, which is focused above all on airflow. Should dust become an issue, the accessibility of the components means that it can be removed without issue through the various openings.
Direct Access to Hardware
The interior of the Antec Midi Towers, which is open at the rear, offers plenty of room for full-grown gaming hardware. The motherboard in this case can accept the Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX or ATX format and can simultaneously accommodate CPU coolers with a height of up to 215 mm as well as up to two graphics cards with a length of 450 mm each. A 2.5-inch and a 3.5-inch slot are located in the case for sufficient storage space. The I/O panel with two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.1 type C port and the audio inputs and outputs is located at the top of the case towards the front and is easy to reach despite its unusual appearance.
