Streacom DB4 Fanless Cube Case - Titanium

Aluminum outer panels act as a passive CPU cooler

The monolithic design masterpiece consists of a stable basic structure, which is enclosed by four removable outer panels made of extruded aluminum with a sandblasted surface in titanium gray and a black cover panel made of acrylic . These magnificent aluminum panels not only look great, the intelligent shape also corresponds to a convection surface and thus follows its function as a heat sink for the processor installed inside. For this purpose, the latter is connected to a LH6 heat pipe via a flexibly lockable universal CPU cooler with four copper heat pipes for heat dissipation and may have a TDP of no more than 65 W (expandable with the optional Streacom LH6 heat pipe kit to 110 W). 

By removing the cover plate and all four side parts, the assembly of the Mini-ITX mainboard on a tray which is also attached in the middle and which can also be removed is very easy. Either one 3.5-inch HDD, two 2.5-inch SSDs / HDDs or an optional ODD kit ( Streacom DB4ODD ) for optical SlimLine slot-in drives can be attached to the rear of the tray . Two PCI brackets allow the installation of dual-slot expansion cards , which can, however, be a maximum of 200 mm long and 116 mm high. With the corresponding graphics cards, you should therefore pay attention to any PCIe power plug. A detailed manual assists with assembly and ensures that all components are in the right place. 

The I / O panel of the cube has two USB 3.0 ports and a Kensington lock and, like the connections on the mainboard cover, points downwards, but is easily accessible in a corner. To supply the mini system with energy, Streacom provides the proprietary ZF240 ZeroFlex fanless power supply , which is not included! Alternatively, the power can be supplied by an optional NanoPSU including an external notebook power supply. Additional drives can be accommodated variably using universal brackets on the frame behind the mainboard tray, so that a total of up to 5x 3.5-inch and 12x 2.5-inch drives are possible.
