Watercool WCP D5-VARIO with HEATKILLER D5-TOP

 -   -
Our price:  121,90  (100,74  excl tax)
Price in points: 504 points
Reward points: 10 points

This bundle includes the WCP-D5-VARIO and the HEATKILLER® D5-TOP at a discounted combination price.

The fittings shown on the pictures are not included.

The HEATKILLER® D5-TOP is the perfect add-on for D5 pumps. Four G ¼“ threads allow for easy integration into the cooling loop with all common fittings. Non-used threads can be sealed with the included plugs.

Hydro-dynamically optimised channels make the pump work more efficient than with the original top.

A stainless steel mounting plate is included. This can be installed with a 90° variation as well, which makes mounting easy even in narrow PC cases.  Alternatively, the plate can serve as a supporting base. A decoupling component made from rubber is separately available.

As for material, we use high-quality POM and manufacture the plates from polished stainless steel.

Laing / Xylem / Lowara: D5 pumps

The WCP D5 is a DC pump using the spherical motor design as developed by Laing. The only moving part in a spherical motor pump is a spherically shaped rotor/impeller unit, which is seated on an ultra-hard, wear-resistant ceramic ball.

The conventional shaft, shaft bearings, and shaft seals have been eliminated. The occurrence of bearing clearance – and the associated increase of noise – is not possible due to the principle involved. Consequently, the pump continues to work quietly throughout its entire service life.

The bearing is self-adjusting. It is lubricated directly by the medium being pumped (wet rotor design). Separate maintenance is not required. All parts in contact with the medium are corrosion resistant.

Under normal conditions, it is impossible for the rotor to become locked due to the spherical motor design. Reliable starting is also ensured even after long periods of shutdown. The permanent magnetic mechanism allows high efficiency output.

The pump's rotation speed can be finely adjusted throughout a wide output range via a speed governor, which is integrated into the stator. Thus, you may easily regulate hydraulic performance or limit power consumption. The pump always uses the same torque, independent from rotational speed, ensuring reliable starting also on the lowest power level.

The pump comes without attachment parts. Operation requires an appropriate pump cover, which is separately available.

Power supply is provided by a 4 pin Molex connector. The pump also offers a 3 pin Molex plug for rotational speed monitoring.
